Introduction
Maxtreat 2925 is a concentrated nitrite based liquid formulation, along with a pH buffer and yellow metal corrosion inhibitor. The product is recommended for use in cloased component cooling system like DG sets and chillers. Also recommended for use as corrosion inhibitor in brine cooling and very low temperature cooling system, Also contains dispersing agents for a better cleaniness.
Benefits
1. Effective over wide range of conditions, such as in system of multi-metal construction, where the flow is sluggish and oxygen levels are either extremely low or high.
2. Protects DG, Chiller, brine and ultra low temp circuits from corrosion. Does not stain or harm equipment like mechanical seals, etc.
3. Protects machine and mold cooling circuits and various loops associated with steel mills.
4, Protetcs piping, valves, pumps, and HEX by producing a protective film on all exposed metal surfaces - iron, steel, copper, copper alloys and aluminium.
5. Easy to feed liquid, requires no premixing.
6. Controls corrosion of both ferrous and non ferrous metallurgy.
7. Compatible with Maxtreat 6910 as biocide for a complete treatment program for chiller water treatment.
Application and dosage
Dose of corrosion inhibitors varies with TDS, hardness, system operating conditions and pH of operation, NO2 levels expected are also important. Your Chemmax representative will provide technical assistance in determining the optimum dosages rate based on system's requirement.
Handling and safety
Contains Alkali. Alkaline solutions cause burns. Harmful if swallowed. Do not get in eyes, on skin or clothing. In case of any contact with eyes or skin, wash with plenty of water and get medical help immediately. Product is stable under normal conditions of storage and operation.
